Polo CUSD #222 Preschool Screenings
Preschool Screenings for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year will be held in person at the dates and times below. All screenings will take place at Centennial Elementary School, 308 S. Pleasant in Polo. Children entering preschool for the 2023-2024 school year must be either 3 or 4 years of age by September 1st, 2023. Children must be at least 2 years, 8 months old at the time of screening. Children who will be 3 by September 1st but are not yet 2 years, 8 months of age by the March screening date will be scheduled for a summer screening date. If your child is currently on the waitlist for the Preschool Program they are required to be rescreened.
The purpose of the screening is to provide parents with an indicator of their child’s readiness for school and identify children who may benefit from early childhood services. All children must be screened and qualify in order to attend the Polo School District Preschool for All (PFA) program.

Monday, March 13, 2023 from 9:00am - 4:00pm
Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Friday, March 17, 2023 from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Students in Ms. Wolfley's class are learning division strategies during Math. They
are learning how to divide by using equal groups, repeated subtraction, number lines and making arrays.
(1/11/2023) There is no junior high basketball practice today.
Aplington Middle School wrestling meet today at 4:15 P.M. in Genoa Kingston. Enter the GK Middle school at the main entrance. Meet will be in the auxiliary gym. Sports fees must be paid prior to the meet today.
