Today, 28 seniors ventured to Navy Pier to see Measure for Measure, a bit lesser-known Shakespeare play. The version the kids saw was a modernized take set in 1950s Cuba. It was a beautiful day and they got to spend their lunch outside on the pier after enjoying the play and a post-performance chat with the actors.

Kindergarten went on a walking field trip to the Polo Fire Station today! We had so much fun exploring the station and fire trucks, while learning more about "Stop, Drop, and Roll", how to check if there is a fire behind a closed door, and what to do if we are ever stuck in a house fire. One of the firefighters then got dressed in all of his gear for us to see!

Thank you to these great students for their help with picking up after the football games. Mr. Gorzny and the football team are so thankful! Mr. Gorzny treated them to a pizza party today! Thank you again!
