Middle school cross country practice is cancelled today due to the heat. 7th/8th grade Jr tackle football with Milledgeville is also cancelled today due to the heat.
Reminder....Anyone attending indoor Polo Volleyball games this season home or away must properly wear masks at all times

Another reminder to the public...please follow the posted sign on the Football field gate that states that no dogs are allowed inside. Second year in a row that we have had to clean up our football field of dog waste so that our high school boys can play again. The Football field is NOT public property and belongs to the school. Police will be called if a dog is sighted. They are aware of this problem. If this continues after repeated reminders the football gate will have to be locked as well as the other entrances to the field that people use and closed to the public. Please show our young athletes some respect and keep your dogs and all other animals off the football field.

The first day of school was a success! It was so great to see all the students!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone at "Meet the Marcos" on Friday, August 20th at 6:30 on the Football Field!!!
Please send water bottles with students to school. The water fountains are turned off but the bottle filling stations will be on.
Breakfast and lunch will start on Thursday for all students.
Meet the Marcos will be held this Friday 8/20/21 starting at 6:30. This year it will all be held at the Football field for all Fall sports.
First day of school is Wednesday, August 18th. Dismissal will be at 11:10 A.M. for Aplington students. When your student arrives at school, please have them report to the following locations: 8th grade will go to the third floor, 7th grade will go to the second floor, and 6th grade will go to the first floor basement. Schedules and locker information will be handed out on each floor.

Aplington 6th grade and new student orientation will be held tonight from 5:00-6:30 P.M. New students and parent/guardians will be able to tour the building in small groups. Students will receive their schedules and information on Skyward, chromebooks, and the breakfast/lunch program will be given. Students and parents/guardians only please. Masks need to be worn in the building.
Update… Polo High school Volleyball will have practice tonight 8/16. Aplington volleyball practices are cancelled.
