Parents of Seniors:
Today is the last day to submit senior pictures for the Sauk Valley Media graduation section. Senior pictures are still needed for the yearbook. I only have photographs for about half of the senior class. The deadline for senior pictures for the yearbook is May 15th. If your senior has not had senior pictures taken, you may submit another photo to me. If we do not receive a picture by the deadlines, we will use the student's school portrait that was taken by Persona. If you need the yearbook staff to take a photo of your senior, please let me know ASAP.

The Polo Community Unit School Board of Education officially announces that it has a vacant board seat, effective April 28th, 2021. Any interested candidates should send a letter of interest outlining their experiences, qualification, and why they want to serve on the Board of Education. Letters should be sent to Superintendent, Dr. Kelly Mandrell, at kmandrell@poloschools.net
The deadline for submitting a letter of interest is Tuesday, April 27th, 2021. The next steps will be communicated by the Board of Education after their regular board meeting on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021.

Polo Marcos Football game at Kirkland Hiawatha will only be allowing limited spectators to attend the game on 4/9/21. The Varsity Football players will sign up their family members for the tickets. The game will be live streamed. The link to the game will be posted here later today or tomorrow.
Information from Kirkland...Spectators that are attending the game must wear a mask covering mouth and nose at all times and practice social distancing. There will be designated areas spectators must sit at, and each family or pod will be assigned their own area. All spectators will be screened before entering the game.
PCHS will be sending the names of the spectators that may go to the game to Kirkland. If your name is not on the list, you will not be allowed to enter the game.
Parents of Seniors:
Sauk Valley Media is requesting senior pictures for their graduation section. Senior pictures are also needed for the yearbook. We have only received a handful of senior pictures from students.
