Due to the Icy Conditions Polo Community School District will have a 2 hour Delay Monday, January 22nd, 2024. The High school and Middle School with start at 10:10 a.m. with Centennial starting at 10:15 a.m.
The Illinois State Scholars for Polo Community High School were honored at the school board meeting on January 17, 2024. Those in attendance were Sydnei Rahn, Karlea Fry, and Alex Albano. Josh Conway was unable to attend. Congratulations to our State Scholars! We are proud of you!
For tomorrow's high school girls basketball game, varsity will play first at 6 with two JV quarters to follow.
The two cancelled JH Wrestling meets have been rescheduled.

2/8 vs Freeport @ 4:30pm
Both matches will take place at Aplington Middle School.
Today, Centennial had our 2024 Spelling Bee. Jace McKenna was our champion with the winning word "practice." Jeremiah Christen is our runner up. The Regional Spelling Bee will be February 23rd. Great job to all of the spellers!
Wednesday, January 17th: The North bus route is running very late. If you are on this route, please keep your children inside until you see the bus arrive.
Tuesday, January 16, 2024: There will be no junior high girls basketball practice today. Our first home game is tomorrow as scheduled.
Tuesday, January 16, 2024: The JH Wrestling meet schedule against Erie for this afternoon has been cancelled. We will be looking to reschedule. There will be no practice today.
Due to the Windchill Warning and dangerously low temperatures, the Polo Community Unit School District #222 will have an E-Learning Day on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Based upon the warning ending at noon and changing to an advisory, activities are still tentatively planned.
Saturday, January 13, 2024: Due to road conditions tonight's girls basketball game at Pearl City is cancelled.
Polo schools will be having an e-learning day tomorrow 1/12/24. No student attendance, along with no activities tomorrow night. Teachers are available via email between 9am-2pm.

Students at Centennial got to work on Cool Tools today. They learned all about the expectations for the cafeteria, library, playground, hallways, and even learned about manners.
