The Polo Girls Basketball game on Friday 2/3 is SENIOR NIGHT. It is also a Varsity only game that starts at 6:00. Senior Night will start at 5:45.
In last night’s basketball game, Polo senior Lindee Poper scored her 1,000 career point. She is only the 5th girl to do this in Polo! Congratulations Lindee!

This afternoon, we had a bus slip into the ditch. Thank you for the Polo Fire Department and Ambulance crew for there help in getting all the students and driver off the bus safely. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this time. In the future, we will try to get out faster. Please know our first concern is always the safety of our students.
Polo CUSD #222 Preschool Screenings
Preschool Screenings for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year will be held in person at the dates and times below. All screenings will take place at Centennial Elementary School, 308 S. Pleasant in Polo. Children entering preschool for the 2023-2024 school year must be either 3 or 4 years of age by September 1st, 2023. Children must be at least 2 years, 8 months old at the time of screening. Children who will be 3 by September 1st but are not yet 2 years, 8 months of age by the March screening date will be scheduled for a summer screening date. If your child is currently on the waitlist for the Preschool Program they are required to be rescreened.
The purpose of the screening is to provide parents with an indicator of their child’s readiness for school and identify children who may benefit from early childhood services. All children must be screened and qualify in order to attend the Polo School District Preschool for All (PFA) program.
