Aladdin Jr. tickets go on sale tomorrow! Shows are Friday, March 11th at 7 P.M. and Saturday, March 12th at 7 P.M. in the high school gym. COVID Update for 2/21/2022:
Students:
We had 2 positive students for the week. This put our number to 99 students for the year. We have 1 student that is excluded.
Staff:
We had 0 staff members that were positive. Staff numbers have not changed, we are still at 25. We have had 0 staff members excluded.
We are celebrating FFA week with cinnamon rolls. We are very appreciative of their thoughtfulness during their special week.
Aplington Middle School followed Marley Linboom's participation in the regional spelling bee today via live video stream. She went up against 30 other spellers from Whiteside, Lee, and Ogle counties. The event, which was held at Dixon High School, lasted just under 2 hours. Marley had spent weeks studying, and survived until the 4th round. Congratulations, Marley!
Congratulations to Knox Chesnut, Centennial's Spelling Bee Champion, for his participation in today's Regional Spelling Bee at the Dixon High School. We are so proud of your accomplishments!
Celebrating Black History Month by learning about Ruby Bridges. Students were shocked she is still alive!
Junior high track practice starts on Wednesday, March 16th at Aplington from 3:30-4:30pm. Schedules will be handed out on this day.

Sauk Valley Community College will be hosting virtual information sessions about the Impact Program on Wednesday, March 9th at noon and Monday, March 14th at 5:00 p.m. This is for students who will be Freshmen in the Fall of 2022. To register for an information session, please visit www.svcc.edu/impact. Participants will be emailed the Zoom link the weekday before the session.
